The Little Train That Discovered the Sea

Once upon a time, there was a little red train named Tomi. He lived in a small train station surrounded by hills and fields of flowers.

Every day, Tomi carried fruit, letters, and happy animals.

But he had a dream: to see the sea.

“I’d love so much to discover the ocean,” he often said.

One morning, the stationmaster told him:

“Today, you’re going on a long journey to the sea!”

Tomi was very happy.

He pulled away gently and set off on his adventure.

He passed through dark tunnels, over high bridges, and through green valleys.

Birds flew alongside him as if they were accompanying him.

Along the way, he met an old locomotive.

“Where are you going?” she asked.

“To see the sea!” Tomi replied enthusiastically.

“Then keep going straight—you’re on the right track,” said the locomotive with a smile.

After a long journey, the air began to feel different.

He could smell the salt and feel the wind.

“It’s the sea!” Tomi shouted.

Soon, he arrived at a large station by the ocean.

Before him stretched a vast expanse of blue water.

The waves danced gently and sparkled in the sun.

Tomi was in awe.

“It’s even more beautiful than in my dreams!”

The boats honked cheerfully.

Seagulls flew over the water.

Tomi spent the whole day watching the sea.

But he noticed something strange.

A small beach was littered with trash.

The sea creatures looked sad.

Tomi decided to help.

He called out to the fishermen, the travelers, and even the machines at the train station.

“Together, we can clean up the beach!”

Everyone got to work.

Little by little, the beach became clean and beautiful again.

The fish began swimming happily near the shore once more.

In the evening, the sun set over the sea, painting the sky orange and pink.

Tomi was happy.

He had discovered the sea… and he had also learned how to take care of it.

From that day on, he told every train he met about his adventure.

And each one, in turn, dreamed of seeing the ocean.
