Once upon a time, there was a little green train named Milo. He lived in a valley surrounded by fields and small hills.
Every day, he carried passengers, baskets of fruit, and important letters.
But Milo dreamed of going higher… much higher, all the way to the mountains.
“One day, I’ll see the peaks,” he often said.
One morning, the stationmaster told him:
“Today, you’re going on a special trip up to the mountains.”
Milo was very happy.
He started off slowly and left the valley.
The landscape changed little by little. The fields turned into forests, then into rocky terrain.
“I’m going up! I’m going up!” Milo said enthusiastically.
Birds flew above him, as if they were accompanying him.
Along the way, he met an old gray train.
“The mountains are high and challenging,” said the old train. “But they’re magnificent.”
“I’m ready!” replied Milo.
The higher he climbed, the cooler the air became.
Finally, he arrived at a large station at the foot of the mountains.
Before him, the peaks were covered in snow and glistened in the sun.
“It’s even more beautiful than in my dreams!” exclaimed Milo.
The travelers took photos, filled with wonder.
But as he looked further ahead, Milo noticed a small path blocked by rocks.
“No one can get through here,” said a mountain goat.
Milo thought for a moment.
Then he said:
“What if we all work together to clear the path?”
The travelers, the animals, and even the old train pitched in to help.
Little by little, the rocks were moved aside.
The path was clear once more.
“Thank you!” said the goat happily.
Milo felt proud.
He had discovered the mountain… and also the power of helping one another.
When the sun set behind the peaks, he set off back toward the valley.
But this time, he was no longer the same.
He knew that every journey becomes even more beautiful when you help others along the way.
And from that day on, Milo told the story of his adventure to every train he came across.
