The Little Stream That Wanted to Become a River

Once upon a time, there was a little stream named Riri. It flowed gently among the rocks of a mountain.

Riri was clear, cheerful, and full of little fish.

But he had a dream:

“I want to become a big river!” he said.

The rocks around him chuckled softly.

“You’re still small, Riri. Be patient.”

But Riri wanted to grow up fast.

Every day, he looked down into the valley, where a great river flowed.

“One day, I’ll be just like it!”

One morning, a tiny raindrop fell into the stream.

Then another… then yet another.

“Hello!” said the raindrops. “We’ve come to help you.”

Riri grew a little.

He was happy.

He began to make his way down the mountain.

Along the way, he met little streams just like him.

“Where are you going?” he asked.

“Toward the valley!” replied the other streams.

Riri realized something.

“Together, we’re stronger!”

They joined forces.

Little by little, the stream grew wider.

It flowed faster, stronger, farther.

The fish swam happily.

Flowers bloomed along its banks.

One day, Riri arrived in the great valley.

And there…

He saw the great river.

“I’ve made it!” he said.

But the river replied softly:

“You are now a part of me.”

Riri then realized that his dream had come true… but not on his own.

He had become a great river thanks to all the little streams coming together.

From that day on, he continued to flow, proud and happy.

And he never forgot that even small things can become great when they come together.
