The Little Star Gardener

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Sami. Every night, he loved to look at the star-filled sky from his bedroom window.

One evening, as he was gazing at the stars, a tiny light gently fell from the sky.

“Ouch…” whispered a voice.

Sami went out into the garden and saw a tiny, shining star on the ground.

“Did you fall from the sky?” he asked, surprised.

“Yes…” replied the star. “I got lost.”

Sami gently picked it up in his hands.

“Don’t worry, I’ll help you.”

The star explained:

“I have to go back to the sky, or else the night will get darker.”

Sami thought for a moment.

Then he had an idea.

He went to get a small mirror, a bucket of water, and a lamp.

“Maybe I can help you shine bright enough to go back up.”

He placed the star in the center of the garden.

The light from the mirror reflected all around her.

The water shimmered like a tiny glowing lake.

The lamp added a soft glow.

Little by little, the star began to float.

“I’m going back up!” she said happily.

But suddenly, she hesitated.

“What if I fall again?”

Sami smiled.

“You’re not alone. The sky is waiting for you.”

The star felt braver.

She rose gently… then higher still… until she reached the sky.

She found her place among the other stars.

The sky shone even brighter that night.

“Thank you, little boy!” cried the star from afar.

Sami looked up at the sky, filled with joy.

The next day, he told his mom this story.

But no one ever knew if it was a dream…

Or a real lost star.

From that day on, Sami looked up at the sky even more closely.

And he always wondered if some of the stars had ever visited his garden.
