Once upon a time, there was a little hedgehog named Hugo. He lived in a peaceful forest where the trees seemed to touch the sky.
Hugo loved to go for walks, especially in the morning when the dew sparkled on the leaves.
One day, he noticed something strange.
The forest seemed darker than usual.
“Where has the light gone?” he wondered.
The birds whispered:
“The forest has lost its fireflies…”
Hugo decided to help.
He went to see the old owl.
“Do you know where the fireflies are?” he asked.
The owl replied:
“They’ve hidden because the forest has become too quiet and sad.”
Hugo thought for a moment.
“But how can we make the forest happy?”
The owl smiled gently:
“Perhaps by bringing a little joy.”
Hugo set out on his adventure.
He went to see his friends: the rabbit, the squirrel, and the mouse.
“Let’s play together!” he suggested.
At first, they hesitated.
But Hugo started laughing, running, and singing.
Little by little, the animals joined him.
The forest came alive.
Suddenly, a tiny light appeared among the trees.
“A firefly!” cried the mouse.
Then a second one, then a third…
Soon, dozens of fireflies lit up the forest.
It became magical, bright, and joyful.
The owl said:
“See, Hugo? Joy brings back the light.”
Hugo smiled.
From that day on, he never forgot that sharing joy can light up even the darkest places.
And every night, the forest shone thanks to him and his friends.
