The Little Hedgehog and the Messenger Wind

Once upon a time, there was a little hedgehog named Hugo. He lived in a quiet forest where the trees whispered softly in the wind.

Hugo loved to go for walks every morning, but he had a problem: he could never understand what the wind was saying.

“Why do you blow so hard?” he would often ask.

One day, the wind replied:

“I don’t blow without a reason, little hedgehog. I carry messages.”

Hugo was surprised.

“Messages? But for whom?”

“For all those who know how to listen.”

The wind blew gently around him.

“Today, I have a message for you.”

Hugo pricked up his little ears.

The wind whispered:

“In the forest, a little rabbit has gotten lost near the river.”

Hugo looked up.

“I have to help him!”

He hurried off through the leaves and branches.

Along the way, he asked the trees:

— Have you seen the rabbit?

The trees answered by gently moving their branches:

— He passed this way…

Hugo followed the wind’s clues.

Finally, he found the little rabbit trembling near the water.

— Don’t be afraid, I’m here, said Hugo.

The rabbit smiled.

“I can’t find my way home…”

Hugo thought for a moment.

He remembered the wind’s message.

“The wind showed me the way!” he said.

Together, they followed the gentle breeze through the trees.

Little by little, they found their way back to the burrow.

The rabbit’s mother came running up.

“Thank you so much!” she said.

Hugo was happy.

The wind blew gently around him.

“See?” said the wind. “When you listen, you can help others.”

From that day on, Hugo was no longer content just to feel the wind.

He listened to it.

And every breath became a new adventure.
