Once upon a time, there was a little red boat named Marco. He lived in a quiet little harbor by the sea.
Every day, he helped the fishermen carry fish and the children play near the water.
But Marco had a dream: to travel far, far away, all the way to the horizon.
“One day, I’ll discover the open sea,” he often said.
One morning, the wind blew stronger than usual.
“Today is a special day,” said the old lighthouse.
The waves were gentle and the sky was bright.
The fishermen loaded Marco one last time.
“Have a good trip!” they said with a smile.
And suddenly, Marco set off on his own toward the open sea.
He was very happy and a little anxious at the same time.
At first, he swam along the coast and saw golden beaches and children playing.
Then, little by little, the land disappeared behind him.
“I’m really out in the big ocean!” he exclaimed.
The waves were higher, but Marco swam on bravely.
He met a playful dolphin.
“Where are you going, little boat?” asked the dolphin.
“To discover the world!” replied Marco.
“Then I’ll keep you company for a while,” said the dolphin with a smile.
They swam together for quite a while.
Further on, Marco spotted a magnificent island full of palm trees and colorful flowers.
He decided to stop there.
On the island, the animals welcomed him joyfully.
“Welcome!” they said.
Marco had a wonderful day.
But that evening, he thought of his harbor.
“I miss my home a little,” he said softly.
The dolphin returned.
“Traveling is about discovering, but also about learning to come back.”
Marco understood.
The next day, he set out to sea again, guided by the stars and the distant lighthouse.
After a long journey, he found his little harbor again.
The fishermen and the children were waiting for him with joy.
“You’re back!” they exclaimed.
Marco was happy.
He had discovered the world… and realized that his home was even more precious after his journey.
From that day on, he continued to sail, but always returned to the harbor, his heart filled with adventures.
