Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lina. She loved spending time at her grandpa’s house because he always had wonderful stories to tell.
One day, he said to her with a smile:
“Lina, today I’m going to show you a place that nobody knows about.”
Lina was very curious.
“A secret place?”
Grandpa took her hand and led her behind the house.
They walked along a small path hidden by trees and wildflowers.
At the end of the path was an old wooden door.
“Open it gently,” he said.
Lina pushed the door open and gasped in amazement.
Before her lay a magnificent garden.
But this was no ordinary garden…
The flowers changed colors, the butterflies sparkled like stars, and the trees seemed to be smiling.
“This is incredible!” Lina exclaimed.
Grandpa smiled.
“This is the Garden of Memories.”
Lina walked among the flowers.
Each flower represented a happy moment.
“This one represents the day you learned to walk,” said Grandpa, pointing to a small yellow flower.
Lina laughed.
“And this one?” she asked, pointing to a bright red flower.
“That’s the day you gave me a big hug.”
Lina was moved.
But as she walked on, she saw a small section of the garden where the flowers had wilted.
“Why are these flowers sad?” she asked.
Grandpa sighed softly.
“Those are the memories we forget over time.”
Lina thought for a moment.
Then she said:
“What if we made them happy again?”
She began telling stories, laughing, and singing with her grandpa.
Little by little, the wilted flowers perked up.
The garden became even brighter than before.
Grandpa placed his hand on his heart.
“Memories live on as long as we share them.”
Lina then understood that the most beautiful treasures aren’t objects…
But the moments of love and happiness that we keep in our hearts.
And from that day on, she often visited the secret garden so she would never forget her most beautiful memories.
